Suspended Sculpture

Using the same self-developed technique as her wall sculptures, Sue Freda also creates suspended works in which a single continuous strand of wire is woven into intricate, organic structures. These elongated and abstract forms extend her exploration of line, transparency, and motion into open space.
Her sculptures may be suspended from the ceiling or mounted to the wall, shifting in presence depending on their placement. Many are designed to hang freely—linear long forms, chain constructions, and light-based pieces—responding subtly to air and light while remaining adaptable for wall installation.
