When we think of sculpture, we often imagine monumental works in bronze, stone or steel – pieces that command space, and invite viewers to walk around them to admire, often at a distance.  Jewelry, on the other hand, is intimate, personal, and designed to be worn close to the body, either as a meaningful symbol or as an accessory to fashion.

I recently unearthed a collection of my prints from around the time of my exhibition “Line Into Form” at the deYoung Museum in 2010.

 It is nearly (finally) Spring!  After the busy inner work of these late Winter months, many of us are ready to begin fresh, and bring balance to our lives and projects.  And like many, I’ve used this quiet time to focus my work in several directions. 

I recently created this collection of knitted wire forms for the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel  inspired by my signature visual aesthetic and botanical shapes and forms.
