Wearables

As a sculptor, Sue creates objects that can exist in any space. Her first love was jewelry and this was her major at the Rhode Island School of Design before transferring into sculpture. Sculpture became a natural home for Sue as it encompasses art that can exist in many places and with many mediums.
Wearables are sculpture for the body. The pieces shown here have been created for purchase, and for individuals for specific events, performances, or for daily wear. The wearable dresses were made for NY Fashion Week in 2011. The Jacket was created for DIFFA Dallas, and the headwear was made for sound artist Lenkadu for her stage performances.
